Step 1
Introductory Consultation
A no obligation ‘let’s get to know each other’ meeting. This will help provide inspiration for designs, style and materials. Discuss your ideas in the comfort of our Hatton Garden store, or remotely via Zoom call, and enjoy peace of mind that you will play an integral role in every process. When visiting in person, you will also be invited to a tour of our onsite workshop to meet the craftsmen, who will be creating your piece of Rebus jewellery.
Step 2
Ideas Workshop
“As with all great design it starts with an idea”. Following your initial consultation, we will share our ideas with the jewellery design specialists. Together we will expand this into a fully formed concept. At this stage we can discuss costs involved.
Step 3
Final Design Presentation
The team now begins the process of bringing the design to life, by creating final drawings. This is an important step, allowing you the opportunity to make any final amendments before we hand-paint a gouache artwork of the jewellery and produce a wax model to give an accurate representation of your final piece.
Step 4
Creation
Now the Rebus jewellers and hand engravers set to work in creating the design. A fitting may be required before the hand engraving element of the design commences. Not only will you receive your jewellery but also the sketches and hand-painted gouache artworks of the design process. This will be presented to you at our final meeting in our Hatton Garden premises, will be shipped to you alongside the completed jewellery piece.
